Alyssa
(pronounced Ah-Lisa) Shepherd-Moore manages a team
of account executives on agency accounts including
the statewide California 5 a Day Campaign; Farmers
Insurance, Pacific Gas and Electric Company Church
Outreach Program and the California Department of
Health Services/Office of AIDS on their Pastor's Guidebook
for HIV/AIDS Ministry Through The Church.
Shepherd-Moore
brings to BaumanCurry & Co. 17 years of experience
as a public relations specialist. Her skills in media
relations, community relations and project management
have garnered results such as increasing participation
in the Crippled Children's Society's Valentine Run
from 500 to 2,000 runners in just one year and donations
increased 300 percent. The Multicultural Motion Picture
Awards utilized Shepherd-Moore's expertise as Director
of Media Relations to generate news coverage of luminaries
such as Andy Garcia, Charo, Bob Hope, Diahann Carroll
and Loni Anderson.
Shepherd-Moore,
a native of Carson, California, received her Bachelor
of Arts degree in English from California State University
Dominguez Hills. She is a member of Public Communicators
of Los Angeles (PCLA) and Public Relations Society
of America (PRSA) and was elected as a community member
of the Local School Site Council at Westport Heights
Elementary. She is also past president and charter
member of Secure Women Investment Club.
